Have you or your children always wanted to learn to play an instrument but couldn’t afford private lessons? With Practicing Musician’s beginning micro tutoring, you don’t need any prior musical experience, and you don’t need to sacrifice quality for affordability. By purchasing an annual subscription, you will receive the following:
- 48 weeks of 10-minute sessions for personalized feedback from an expert private teacher via video conference
- Weekly pre-session preparation plan from your private teacher to be done 20 minutes before each 10-minute session
- Weekly practice schedule with a personalized assignment of 30+ minutes of video tutorials that include an expert demonstration of technique and explanation of concepts, sheet music, and written assignments from the Practicing Musician curriculum
Students who follow their teacher’s guidance receive 60+ minutes of lessons and feedback every week but only pay for 10 minutes of contact time with their teacher. That is why we can charge about 1/3 the average price of a 60-minute private lesson. In addition, our micro tutoring model is significantly more aligned with the most recent educational research than the traditional private instruction model, maximizing effectiveness and efficiency.
