Common questions

The monthly plan is the easiest place to start — no commitment, no pressure. If you love it, upgrading to quarterly or annual is simple and any unused balance carries over. If you know you're ready to commit, the quarterly plan is where most families land.
The monthly plan exists exactly for this. One month, four sessions, real instruction. If it clicks — and it usually does — you can move to a longer plan anytime and we'll apply your remaining balance toward it.
Research on how the brain learns shows that shorter, focused sessions with spaced practice outperform longer lessons where attention and retention naturally fade. Ten minutes of targeted instruction, paired with practice exercises between sessions, is simply more effective.
We teach band and orchestra instruments:
  • Concert Band: alto saxophone, clarinet, euphonium, flute, french horn, oboe, percussion, tenor saxophone, trombone, trumpet, tuba
  • Orchestral Strings: cello, upright bass, viola, violin
If you'd like to rent a musical instrument, we recommend Sweetwater Music Instrument Rentals.
Most students notice meaningful improvement within the first month. The quarterly plan is where real momentum builds, because the curriculum is designed to layer and reinforce learning over time.
Yes. Every plan starts from where your student is right now and builds from there. No prior experience is required.
