RENTAL PROGRAM FAQ
No, we chose to partner with the rental company National Educational Music Company (NEMC) because of their deep commitment to renting quality instruments since 1957. Over 60 years later, NEMC’s A+ reviews make them a continued leader for instrument rentals. CLICK to read reviews.
Shop from home to access NEMC’s large inventory of teacher approved, quality musical instruments in new or like new condition such as trumpets, clarinets, trombones, flutes, saxophones, violins, violas, cellos, drums and many more. Educators across the country give NEMC an A+ for our quality brands, which are expertly cleaned and maintained for optimum playability and safety backed by service, exchange and purchase options, all at an affordable price
In the unlikely event your instrument needs repair or adjustment, just request a free prepaid return label from NEMC and bring your instrument in its original container to any UPS drop-off location. NEMC will take care of the rest and in just a few days your instrument will back in your hands ready to play (next day expedited repair service available in select areas).
Your school will receive a portion of every rental or purchase, starting at $4 per rental instrument per month, or more depending on the instrument. Practicing Musician and NEMC will provide the funding to Give A Note, a nonprofit foundation promoting music education, which will provide grants to each participating public school. Your cash grants can add up fast!
